Fred Dex is one of only 245 Master Sommeliers in the World as well as one of the United States’ leading wine, cocktail & beverage consultants and education experts. Fred’s career as a wine and beverage professional spans nearly two decades and has touched upon nearly every aspect of the business.
In 2009, Fred started a consulting business, Juiceman Consulting, with the mission of making the world a better place to drink. Over the past decade, Fred has built an incredible array of diverse clients. He was the exclusive United States Educator for both Wines of Chile & Wines of Southwest France, as well as conducting education seminars for Vini Portugal, Wine of Macedonia, Toro Wines, Wines of Argentina, Wines of Campania, VdP Pays d’Oc and others around the US.
He’s been wine, cocktail and beverage consultant to Chef Laurent Tourondel, Eventi Hotel. SBE, Tao Group, Motorino Pizzeria, Max Brenner Chocolate, The Grand Hyatt NYC, Maple Leaf Sports Enter- tainment, Full Circle Wine Solutions, Nespresso, Sopexa USA, Star Chef’s and many more.
Fred most recently served as the Wine Education Director for the Winebow Group and currently spends time as an Adjunct Wine Educator at the International Culinary Center teaching their Intensive Somme- lier Program.
Fred is an accomplished mixologist, cocktail creator and bar expert. He’s opened and created over 35 restaurant and hotel bar and cocktail programs. His cocktail creations have been published in Food and Wine and the NY Times. He is always workshopping something tasty in his spare time.
Fred will be launching an online wine tasting program “Taste Like a Master” in Summer 2019!
