Angela Covington grew up on the SC coast. Her first restaurant job was at age 13 on Isle of Palms. She attended the University of South Carolina while working in the kitchen at Columbia’s award-winning Motor Supply Restaurant. She later worked retail at The Gourmet Shop while operating Angela’s Gourmunchies, a licensed specialty catering company. She was the original pastry chef and dessert creator at Terra where she worked under the tutelage of James Beard Award winning chef Mike Davis. For the last decade, she has served as national sales representative for Manchester Farms Quail. She was named the the 2017 Associate Member of the Year by ACF-SC.
