Denise is an attorney and freelance food photographer, who recently gave up a lifetime of living in Southern California to pursue a dream living in a mountain cabin just outside of Telluride, Colorado. Several years ago, as a diversion to lawyering, Denise launched There’s a Newf in My Soup, a cooking blog originally focused on culinary-themed Concerts in the Park and online cooking groups like The Daring Kitchen and French Fridays with Dorie. The name of the blog combined of her love for Newfoundland dogs and cooking. As the blog developed, her passion for cooking, food photography and writing opened doors to freelance photography for local restaurants and food and wine events, and writing food related articles for local magazines. Denise photographed for the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival for several years, and her photographs were featured on the cover of the festival magazine and used in advertising for the event.
Denise has provided food photography for several local restaurants, food and wine events, magazines, and resorts
Sofia is an artist and filmmaker from Denver, Colorado. Shortly after receiving a degree in Studio Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder, she lived in Telluride for three years doing freelance work and seasonal jobs. Sofia is excited returning for her third summer as the official videographer for the Telluride Wine Festival. I look forward to 2019 as every year has been bigger and better and its always a blast!
