Picnic Seminar - Precious Bites: Bubbles, Still Wines and Culinary Delights ($125)

Kick your lunch off in style by tasting appetizers paired with an all-star lineup of sparkling wines from California, the Cava region in Spain and the Prosecco region in Italy. Then, enjoy a mixture of mouth-watering delights matched with a selection of elegant styles of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from West Coast. Along the way, learn about these special regions, the grapes that are used to make the wines, food pairings, and so much more! Moderated by Chris Sawyer.

Why You Like the Wines You Like - Introduction to Wine Tasting (Free)

Can't tell a Pinot from your big toe? Clueless about Cabernet? Couldn't pick out a Chardonnay unless it hit you over the head? This seminar, presented by Tim Hanni, is for newbies who are wading into the world of wine, or for long-time lovers looking for a refresher course. Learn the tasting basics, understand varietals, and more. Located in Elk's Park. 

Toast of Telluride ($60)

Join us in the Town of Telluride for a progressive tasting of wines and nibbles. Hop from shop-to-shop, gallery-to-gallery, restaurant-to-restaurant where each spot is paired with a winery eager to share their story and their wines with you. Tastings are included in the price of the ticket.

Blind Tiger Speakeasy ($65)

Channel your inner Gatsby or Daisy and meet us down a dark alley at the secret entrance to Thursday night's most roaring party. Step back in time when prohibition was the law of the land, and elegant parties still raged in hidden speakeasies. Flappers and gangsters can dance the night away as beer, wine, and spirits brands pour drinks and signature cocktails. It may feel a little naughty, but we promise your night will be nothing short of nice. Limited number of tickets available.

Perfectly Pinot Seminar ($75)

Passionate about Pinot Noir? This seminar gives you a unique opportunity to taste a collection of these sophisticated, limited-release wines crafted from world-class grapes grown in the prestigious regions of Russian River Valley, Santa Rita Hills, Anderson Valley, Willamette Valley, and other coastal regions of the West Coast. Featuring Bob Iantosca from Gloria Ferrer, Mike Sullivan from Benovia, and wines from Davis Bynum and The Calling.

Set in a former grand saloon, the restaurant is run by James Beard House invitee Chad Scothorn, whose knack for grafting Asian culinary traditions over American fine-dining fare suggests the work of Citizen Public House maestro Bernie Kantak. Join us as Chef Scothorn and guest Chef James Reaux serve up some magic alongside wine tastings from premiere wineries - the result is nothing short of tantalizing...

Rhone If You Want To Seminar ($75)

The world is just better through rose-colored glasses - well, when they are holding red, white, and pink wines anyway. Just ask the growing number of talented American winemakers who are crafting world-class wines made with Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier and the intriguing grape varieties brought over from the Rhone Valley of France. Learn about the characteristics of the special grapes used to make a wide range of flavorful red and white still wines, dry pink wines, and complex blends that are great to pair with a wide range of cuisine all year long. Featuring Lise Ciolino of Montemaggiore and David Phillips of Michael David Wine.

Mixed Bag of Mixed Blacks Seminar: Preserving Rare Old Vine Wines ($75)

Before Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon became the most popular red grapes to plant west of the Rockies, most of the full-bodied red wines were made with Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane, and other legendary grape varietals referred to as "mixed blacks." Join us at this rare opportunity to taste and find out what proprietors of the Robert Biale Vineyard and other special producers from Napa Valley and Sonoma County are doing to preserve these old vines as you experience this magnificent series of limited release wines.

No, you aren't seeing things, this is Colorado after all! This cannabis, cuisine, and wine pairing dinner is for our attendees who are a bit...experimental. We'll whisk you away to a private residence where you will enjoy different strains of locally grown cannabis paired with complementary wine varietals and culinary creations. This orchestrated pairing provides a relaxing yet structured environment for you to learn directly about what you're consuming from a dispensary owner, chef, and sommelier. Every year, the Telluride Wine Festival Patron Dinner is the culinary capstone of the weekend. This year is no different. Featuring wild game from the bounty of the Colorado wilderness and super premier wines from the best wineries in the country, the exotic farm-to-table feast will sear itself into your memory as one of the best meals you've ever had. Morning After Cocktail Seminar ($75)

Wipe the sleep from your eyes, throw on some fresh clothes, pop a few Aleve, and grab your cocktail shaker - it's time for some hair of the dog. Join one of our favorite mixologists as you stave off a hangover and learn how to whisk up a few concoctions that any brunch table would be proud to present. Location: VIP tent in Mountain Village

Enjoy one of the box canyon's most iconic views from the three-block-long banquet table running down the center of Colorado Avenue as you enjoy a gourmet brunch from a choice of Telluride's best restaurants. Enjoy mimosas, Bloody Mary's, and more as you nibble on a selection of delectable delights. The only thing better than the food is the view. Bring your camera, but even if you forget, this is sure to be an experience you'll never forget.

Paella Dinner ($195)

Vamos a la playa! Well, maybe not exactly, but this dining experience will transport you to the shores of Spain where you will enjoy a paella cooking demonstration paired with a selection of Spanish wine varietals. Hosted in a private Mountain Village residence, this meal will nourish your mind, body, and cultural curiosity.
